How to allow or prevent connections with other computers across Wi-Fi networks

When a computer on a Wi-Fi network tries to connect to your PC, Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 displays a pop-up warning which lets you deny or allow the connection. However, you can change the connection permissions established through these messages whenever you want. You can do this through the white lists and blacklists of computers with access to the network.

The white lists and blacklists let you specify the computers for which you want to allow connections across the Wi-Fi network. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Status in the main menu.

  2. In the Protection section, click Settings.

  3. Select the Firewall option.

  4. In section White list and blacklist of computers with access to the network, click Settings.

The window contains two sections: At the top there is a list of computers that can connect to your PC via the Wi-Fi network, while below you will see the computers that cannot establish connections. These lists include the computers that have been added through a pop-up message and those that have been added manually.

The options available are the following:

Once you have made the changes you want, click OK.
