Am I protected against vulnerabilities?

 

Vulnerabilities are security flaws in computer applications that could turn your computer into easy prey for several types of malware and for hackers.

 

To prevent your computer from being exposed to these threats, Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 checks to see if there is any application in your computer that has any kind of security flaw. On finding one, Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 will immediately fix the vulnerability, and a pop-up message will be appear telling you what has happened. In addition, if Windows needs to be updated to fix the vulnerability, a pop-up warning will allow you to go to the corresponding Windows Update page.


If several vulnerabilities are detected, a pop-up warning will allow you to access more detailed information by clicking on List of vulnerabilities detected. This will open the Vulnerabilities Viewer, which will inform you on the severity rating, and the names of the threats that might exploit of the vulnerability. Click Windows update to fix the vulnerabilities.
