Warnings system

Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 has a complete system of warnings to keep you informed at all times about each of the actions of the program takes (threat detections, warnings, etc.). These warnings appear in the form of pop-up windows in the bottom-right corner of the screen and disappear when you close them.

Each warning has two sections. The top section shows the warning with a title and an explanatory text. The bottom section offers your actions to take.

If you want, you can configure Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 not to display certain types of pop-up warnings. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Preferences in the main window of the program.

  2. Go to the Warnings tab.

  3. You’ll see a list of the pop-up windows that the program displays. Most are enabled by default. If you do not want the program to display a certain warning, clear the corresponding checkbox.

You can set the length of time the warnings will be displayed for and their transparency by clicking Settings, and using the slide control. Click on OK to save the changes.
