Full scan of the PC: Send warnings by email or across the network when malicious software is detected

 

Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 lets you send warnings by e-mail or across the network, every time malicious software is detected on your computer. In addition to keeping you informed of the malware detected, the warnings let you keep other users informed. You can send warnings via email or across the network:

Sending warnings by e-mail

  1. Go to the main screen on the program and click on Scan.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Go to the Warnings tab.

  4. Check the box Send warning to e-mail address and click Settings.

  5. Enter an email address in the box to which warnings should be sent every time malicious software is detected on your computer.

  6. Specify the server to be used by the application to send a message.

  7. Click OK to save the changes and return to the Warnings tab.

  8. Click OK.

Send warnings across the network

  1. Go to the main screen of the program and click on Scan.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Go to the Warnings tab.

  4. Check the box Send warnings to network workstations and click Settings.

  5. You can send messages to a workstation or to the whole domain and indicate the name of a workstation or the name of the domain in the corresponding boxes.

  6. In the Warning message box enter the text that you want to send to the workstation or domain.

  7. Click OK to save the changes and return to the Warnings tab.
