The program settings let you specify the types of malicious software that the automatic protection will detect. This is useful if you specifically want the program not to detect a type of threat. Follow these steps to do so:
Click on Status in the main window of the program.
In the Protection section, click Settings.
Click Known threats.
Click on the option Settings in the Threats to detect and exclude section.
In the Threats tab, there is a window indicating the types of threat that will be detected by the automatic protection of Panda Antivirus Pro 2010. All the checkboxes are selected by default. If you do not want the program to detect one of these types of threats, clear the corresponding checkbox.
Click OK.
To ensure the highest level of protection we advise you to keep all the options enabled.
