After installing Microsoft Forefront Protection 2010 for SharePoint (FPSP), administrators can configure it by launching the Forefront Management Shell or the Forefront Protection 2010 for SharePoint Administrator Console user interface.
To launch the Forefront Management Shell-
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Forefront Server Protection, and then click Forefront Management Shell.

Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Forefront Server Protection, and then click Forefront Protection for SharePoint Console.

| It is recommended that you close the FPSP Administrator Console user interface before performing any configuration changes via PowerShell. Otherwise, you risk inadvertently overwriting configuration changes because you are simultaneously working in multiple environments. |
