When log records are generated faster than they can be formatted to the configured format (text/SQL Server Express/Remote SQL Server), you can specify a location for a log queue that will hold log records until they can be processed, as follows:

To configure the log queue location

  1. In the Forefront TMG Management console, in the tree, click the Logs & Reports node.

  2. In the details pane, click the Logging tab.

  3. On the Tasks tab, click Configure Log Queue.

  4. In the Log Queue Storage Folder dialog box, either leave the default ISALogs folder (in the Forefront TMG installation folder), or specify a custom location in This folder. Ensure that the folder you specify exists.
