SetHTTPConnectivityRequest Method of the IFPCConnectivityVerifier2 Interface

The SetHTTPConnectivityRequest method sets the ServerAddress and HostHeader properties of the connectivity verifier object.

Syntax

HRESULT SetHTTPConnectivityRequest(
  [in]  BSTR ServerAddress,
  [in]  BSTR AltHostHeader
);

Parameters

ServerAddress
BSTR that specifies the address of the server to which connectivity is to be verified.
AltHostHeader
BSTR that specifies the alternative Host header to be used in HTTP GET requests sent by the connectivity verifier.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Parameters

ServerAddress
String that specifies the address of the server to which connectivity is to be verified.
AltHostHeader

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
