ForwardTo Property of the IFPCFirewallChaining Interface

The ForwardTo property gets or sets the name or IP address of the upstream Forefront TMG computer to which requests will be forwarded when chaining to an upstream Forefront TMG computer is enabled.

Parameters

pbstrName: Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the name or IP address of the upstream Forefront TMG computer to which requests will be forwarded when chaining to an upstream Forefront TMG computer is enabled.
bstrName: BSTR that specifies the name or IP address of the upstream Forefront TMG computer to which requests will be forwarded when chaining to an upstream Forefront TMG computer is enabled.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Property Value

String that specifies the name or IP address of the upstream Forefront TMG computer to which requests will be forwarded when chaining to an upstream Forefront TMG computer is enabled.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is an empty string.

When requests are to be forwarded to an ISA Server or Forefront TMG array of upstream servers, this property can be set to the DNS name (DNSName) of the upstream array so that the downstream Forefront TMG computer can send requests to the upstream array as a single logical unit.
