PasswordExpirationWarningEnabled Property of the IFPCFormsBasedAuthenticationProperties Interface

The PasswordExpirationWarningEnabled property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether users will be warned if their password is about to expire.

Parameters

pfPasswordExpirationWarningEnabled: Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if users will be warned if their password is about to expire, or to VARIANT_FALSE if users will not be warned that their password is about to expire.
fPasswordExpirationWarningEnabled: Boolean value that indicates whether users will be warned if their password is about to expire.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write and is applicable only if the AuthenticationSchemes property of the Web listener references the FBA with AD or FBA with LDAP authentication scheme. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).

When this property is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++), the period of time during which users are warned that their password is about to expire is specified by the PasswordExpirationWarningPeriod property.
