The UseBasicAuthenticationForNonBrowserClients property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether Basic authentication may be used for non-browser clients.

Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if Basic authentication may be used for non-browser clients, or to VARIANT_FALSE if Basic authentication may not be used for non-browser clients.

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Boolean value that indicates whether Basic authentication may be used for non-browser clients.
This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).
This property cannot be accessed through Forefront TMG Management.
This property is applicable only to the Beta release of ISA Server 2006. To configure Basic authentication for non-browser clients, use a User-Agent mapping (FPCUserAgentMapping).
