SetIps Method of the IFPCIpRangeEntry Interface

The SetIps method sets the lower and upper bounds of the IP address range.

[C++]

Syntax

HRESULT SetIps(
  [in]  BSTR newFrom,
  [in]  BSTR newTo
);

Parameters

newFrom

String value that specifies the lower bound of the IP range.

newTo

String value that specifies the upper bound of the IP range.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
[Visual Basic]

Syntax

Sub SetIps( _
  ByVal newFrom As String, _
  ByVal newTo As String _
)

Parameters

newFrom

String value that specifies the lower bound of the IP range.

newTo

String value that specifies the upper bound of the IP range.

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

This method modifies the IP_From and IP_To properties. The lower and upper bounds of the IP address range are initially set by the values passed to the IP_From and IP_To parameters of the Add method of an FPCIpRangeSet collection (IFPCIpRangeSet interface in C++) when the object is created.
