Domain Property of the IFPCLdapServersSet Interface

The Domain property gets or sets the domain that will be the starting point for directory searches on the LDAP servers.

Parameters

pbstrDomain

Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the domain that will be the starting point for directory searches on the LDAP servers.

bstrDomain

BSTR that specifies the domain that will be the starting point for directory searches on the LDAP servers.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its value can be set to a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) (such as Users.Contoso.com or Contoso.com) or to a base distinguished name (DN) (such as cn=Users,dc=Contoso,dc=com or dc=contoso,dc=com, where cn stands for common name and dc stands for domain component). It can be set to an empty string if the global catalog is used.
