MSDENumberOfInsertsPerBatch Property of the IFPCLogs Interface

The MSDENumberOfInsertsPerBatch property gets or sets the number of SQL INSERT statements that are buffered before writing the information to a Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE) log.

Parameters

plBufferSize

Pointer to a 32-bit integer that is set on return to the number of SQL INSERT statements that are buffered before writing the information to an MSDE log.

lBufferSize

A 32-bit integer value that specifies the number of SQL INSERT statements that are buffered before writing the information to an MSDE log.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

A 32-bit integer that specifies the number of SQL INSERT statements that are buffered before writing the information to a SQL Server Express log.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is 10,000, and its range of permissible values is from 1 through 100,000. In common scenarios, there is no need to deviate from the default value.

This property is deprecated in Forefront TMG. Use IsaDatabaseNumberOfInsertsPerBatch instead.
