UseRuleSpecificSettings Property of the IFPCMalwareInspectionProperties2 Interface

The UseRuleSpecificSettings property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the rule-specific malware inspection scanner settings will override the global scanner settings for the array.

Parameters

pfUseRuleSpecificSettings

Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the rule-specific malware inspection scanner settings will override the global scanner settings for the array, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the rule-specific malware inspection scanner settings will not override the global scanner settings for the array.

fUseRuleSpecificSettings

Boolean value that indicates whether the rule-specific malware inspection scanner settings will override the global scanner settings for the array.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).
