MaxScanTime Property of the IFPCMalwareInspectionScannerSettings Interface

The MaxScanTime property gets or sets the maximum scanning time, in seconds, after which the malware inspection scanner will block the file if the limit on the scanning time is enforced.

Parameters

plMaxScanTime

Pointer to a variable that on return receives a 32-bit integer specifying the maximum scanning time, in seconds, after which the malware inspection scanner will block the file if the limit on the scanning time is enforced.

lMaxScanTime

A 32-bit integer that specifies the maximum scanning time, in seconds, after which the malware inspection scanner will block the file if the limit on the scanning time is enforced.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. The default value is 300, and the range of permissible values is from 0 through 4294967.
