FpcMicrosoftUpdateSource Enumeration

The FpcMicrosoftUpdateSource enumerated type contains values that indicate how the system will connect to the Microsoft Update Center.

Syntax

  	fpcMicrosoftUpdateSourceDirect

  	fpcMicrosoftUpdateSourceFallbackToDirect

Constants

fpcMicrosoftUpdateSourceDefault

Connects by using the same method used by the operating system; either a direct connection to the Microsoft Update Center or through Microsoft Windows Server Update Services.

fpcMicrosoftUpdateSourceDirect

Connects directly to Microsoft Update Center.

fpcMicrosoftUpdateSourceFallbackToDirect

Connects through Microsoft Windows Server Update Services. If the update is not successful, connects directly to Microsoft Update Center.

Requirements

Client	Requires Windows Vista or Windows XP.
Server	Requires Windows Server 2008.
Version	Requires Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG).
Header	Declared in Comenum.h.
