ExternalPath Property of the IFPCPathMapping Interface

The ExternalPath property gets the external path for the mapping. The external path is the public path used by a user when requesting the Web site. This property is ignored if the SameAsInternalPath property is set to TRUE (VARIANT_TRUE in C++).

Parameters

pbstrExternalPath

Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the internal path to the published subdirectory on the Web server.

Return Value

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Property Value

String value that specifies the external path.

Remarks

This property is read-only. It is set when the object is created by using the Add method of the FPCPathMappings collection (IFPCPathMapping interface in C++).
