Order Property of the IFPCPolicyRule Interface

The Order property gets the rule's ordinal position in the list of policy rules, which corresponds to their order of application.

[C++]
HRESULT get_Order(
	long* plOrder
);

Parameters

plOrder

Pointer to a variable that on return receives a 32-bit integer specifying the rule's ordinal position in the list of policy rules.

Return Value

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

[Visual Basic]
Property Order As Long

Property Value

A 32-bit integer that specifies the rule's ordinal position in the list of policy rules.

Remarks

This property is read-only. By default, a new rule is added to the top of the list of policy rules with a value of 1 for this property. It can be modified by using the MoveDown and MoveUp methods of the FPCPolicyRules collection. Because these methods change the ordinal positions of more than one rule in the collection, the Save method must be called on the collection to write the changes to persistent storage.
