DelegateBasicCredentials Property of the IFPCRoutingRule Interface

The DelegateBasicCredentials property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether Basic credentials are forwarded to an upstream proxy server for authenticating the client.

Parameters

pfDelegated

Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if Basic credentials Basic credentials are forwarded to an upstream proxy server for authenticating the client, or to VARIANT_FALSE if Basic credentials are not forwarded to an upstream proxy server for authenticating the client.

fDelegated

Boolean value that indicates whether Basic credentials are forwarded to an upstream proxy server for authenticating the client.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).

This property is applicable only if the primary route is configured for sending requests to an upstream proxy server.
