ExecuteUpdateAgent Method of the IFPCServer4 Interface

The ExecuteUpdateAgent method executes the Update Agent.

Syntax

HRESULT ExecuteUpdateAgent(
  [in]  FpcUpdateServiceType fpcUpdateServiceType,
  [in]  VARIANT_BOOL vbCheckOnly,
  [in]  VARIANT_BOOL vbForceFullUpdate
);

Parameters

fpcUpdateServiceType

Required. Value from the FpcUpdateServiceType enumerated type that specifies the update service type.

vbCheckOnly

Required. Boolean value that specifies whether to only check if an update is available.

vbForceFullUpdate

Required. Boolean value that specifies whether to force a full update.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
