SetScopedPublishedProtocol Method of the IFPCEEServerPublishingProperties Interface

The SetScopedPublishedProtocol method sets the scope and name of the protocol to which the server publishing rule will apply. The scope indicates whether the protocol is defined for the array or for the enterprise.

Parameters

Scope

Value from the FpcItemScope enumerated type that specifies the scope of the protocol.

Name
BSTR that specifies the name of the protocol to which the server publishing rule will apply.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Scope

Value from the FpcItemScope enumerated type that specifies the scope of the protocol.

Name

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

This method can be used to set the PublishedProtocol property.

The Scope parameter can be set to fpcEnterpriseScope only when an enterprise with central array management is deployed.
