EventGUID Property of the IFPCSignaledAlert Interface

The EventGUID property gets the string-formatted globally unique identifier (GUID) of the event that triggered the alert.

Parameters

pbstrGuid: Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to the string-formatted GUID of the event that triggered the alert.

Return Value

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is read-only.

The GUID retrieved is formatted as a string in the form {12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789ABC}. Note the presence of the braces normally used with GUIDs.
