Phase2RekeyingTime Property of the IFPCVpnNetworkIPSecSettings Interface

The Phase2RekeyingTime property gets or sets the Phase 2 rekeying time, in seconds.

Parameters

plPhase2RekeyingTime

Pointer to a 32-bit integer that is set on return to a long value specifying the Phase 2 rekeying time, in seconds.

lPhase2RekeyingTime

A 32-bit integer value that specifies the Phase 2 rekeying time, in seconds.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

A 32-bit integer value that specifies the Phase 2 rekeying time, in seconds.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is 3,600 seconds (1 hour), and its range of permissible values is from 300 seconds (5 minutes) through 172,800 (48 hours).

Time-base phase 2 rekeying occurs only if the Phase2UseTimeRekeying property is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++) (the default value).
