The EnableMSCHAP property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the Microsoft Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol version 1 (MS-CHAP) can be used for outgoing authentication. MS-CHAP is a nonreversible, encrypted password authentication protocol.
HRESULT put_EnableMSCHAP( VARIANT_BOOL fEnableMSCHAP ); HRESULT get_EnableMSCHAP( VARIANT_BOOL* pfEnableMSCHAP );
Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if MS-CHAP can be used for outgoing authentication, or to VARIANT_FALSE if MS-CHAP cannot be used for outgoing authentication.
Boolean value that specifies whether MS-CHAP can be used for outgoing authentication.
These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.
