EnableMSCHAPv2 Property of the IFPCVpnPPPSettings Interface

The EnableMSCHAPv2 property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the Microsoft Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol version 2 (MS-CHAP v2) is enabled.

Parameters

pfEnableMSCHAPv2

Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if MS-CHAP v2 is enabled, or to VARIANT_FALSE if MS-CHAP v2 is disabled.

fEnableMSCHAPv2

Boolean value that indicates whether MS-CHAP v2 is enabled.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).

All 32-bit Microsoft VPN clients support MS-CHAP v2.
