LookupNetworkElementByAddress Method of the IFWXNetConfigDetectionSnapshot Interface

The LookupNetworkElementByAddress method retrieves an IFWXNetworkElement interface that represents the Forefront TMG network to which the specified IP address belongs.

Syntax

HRESULT LookupNetworkElementByAddress(
  [in]   LPSOCKADDR Address,
  [in]   DWORD AddressLength,
  [out]  IFWXNetworkElement** ppNetworkElement
);

Parameters

Address

Pointer to a sockaddr structure that contains the IP address to look up.

AddressLength

Length, in bytes, of the structure pointed to by the Address parameter.

ppNetworkElement

Address of an interface pointer that on return points to an IFWXNetworkElement interface that represents the Forefront TMG network to which the address belongs.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
