The GetRouteTable method gets the routing table information for the network adapter. Having this information allows the network configuration detection (NCD) mechanism to know the addresses that can be routed for the network adapter, and to send a notification if the routing status changes (an event of type fwx_ncd_ChangeAdapterRoute).
An address that can be routed is one that allows a particular packet to be transmitted, based on the address definition in the routing table. For more information about routing tables, see Routing Tables. Note that Forefront TMG will remove addresses from the network adapter’s routing table if they are not contained in the network connected to the adapter.
HRESULT GetRouteTable( [out] IFWXIpFilter** ppIpRange );
Address of a variable that receives a pointer to the IFWXIpFilter interface that represents the ranges of IP addresses for which a connection or socket is allowed to function.
This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
