GetMask Method of the IFWXNetworkAddress Interface

The GetMask method retrieves the subnet mask for the IP address.

Syntax

HRESULT GetMask(
  [out]	LPSOCKADDR Mask,
  [in, out]  DWORD* MaskLength
);

Parameters

Mask

Pointer to a sockaddr structure that on return receives the subnet mask for the IP address.

MaskLength

Pointer to a variable that specifies the length, in bytes, of the structure pointed to by the Mask parameter. On return, MaskLength receives the actual size, in bytes, of the subnet mask returned in the Mask parameter.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
