Setup information for the Forefront TMG Web proxy is written to the stored Forefront TMG configuration. You can administer Web filters through the Forefront TMG administration COM objects. The COM object FPCWebFilter is provided so that you can access the administration information for an individual Web filter. Each FPCWebFilter object is an element of the FPCWebFilters collection.
An example of Web filter administration that uses the Forefront TMG FPC interfaces is provided in Web Filter Setup.
Use the corresponding COM objects, as shown in Web Filter Setup.
You can enable or disable Web filters, and change their order through Forefront TMG Management. In addition, you can add and remove filters programmatically using Forefront TMG administration COM objects.
Web filters should not attempt to write to the stored Forefront TMG configuration. Web filters are allowed read-only access to the stored Forefront TMG configuration on computers running Windows Server 2003. Therefore, a Web filter that relies on successfully writing to the stored configuration will fail.
