On the Forefront UAG server, open the folder Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway\von\InternalSite\Languages, and copy the language file that you want to customize to the ...\InternalSite\Languages\CustomUpdate folder.

In the ...\InternalSite\Languages\CustomUpdate folder, open the file you copied in a text editor.

Locate the strings that you want to change, and replace the current value with the text that you want to appear for end users.

For example, to change the default page title, locate the string Application and Network Access Portal and replace it with your own string Contoso Portal.

Save the file, and then reload the portal site from a client Web browser.

The page shows the updated string.
