Cache

Web caching allows storing files from the Internet in cache memory, available for all users. Thus, caching reduces the Internet traffic and saves money. This page contains caching parameters.

Enable Cache switch turns caching on. Selecting the right options, it is possible to cache POST requests, dynamic content, cookies and FTP content.

Calculate traffic switch allows calculating traffic from cache.

Cache customizable parameters are cache files location (by default cache files are stored in Cache folder of UserGate directory), cache size (100 Mb by default) and cached documents lifetime (Time To Live- TTL ). TTL is set either in % of document age or in hours.
