If Dial-up connection is used, automatic
connection can be established upon a user's request.
Dialing on
demand section is intended for setting up dialing on demand.
Enable dialing switch allows turning on the dialing on
demand.
To set up dialing on demand, specify the following:
- Connection name - Dial-up connection name (connection
should already exist in Windows).
- User name
- Password
Other customizable parameters are:
- Redial attempts - the number of dialing attempts, in
case the phone line is busy.
- Time between redial attempts - time interval between
redial attempts.
- Idle time before hanging up - time period to wait before
UserGate closes the connection in the absence of user Internet
activity.
Options Redial if disconnected, Connect when starting
UserGate and Disconnect when closing UserGate allow
re-establishing connection in case the line was dropped, initiating
connection at UserGate start and closing connection when UserGate
is shut down.
The last option - Only if UserGate initiated connection -
allows closing a connection only if it was initiated by
UserGate.
