This page is intended for adding and editing NAT
rules. The rules are applied in the order they are listed. If you
have more than one rule for a specific port and protocol, the rule
higher in the list will apply. To change the order of rules in the
list, use the
Up and
Down buttons.
To create a NAT rule, press the Add button on the
Control Panel and specify the following parameters:
- Receiver IP - IP address of the external network
interface card.
- Sender IP - IP address of the internal network interface
card (or Dial-up name).
- Port range - range of ports.
- Protocol - TCP or UDP protocol.
Disable rule checkbox allows disabling a NAT rule
without deleting it from the system.
After a rule is created, it must be assigned to a user or a
group of users. UserGate Proxy Server has a list of predefined
rules (SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, Telnet, News) disabled by default, which
could not be deleted.
