Cache settings

An important purpose of a proxy server is network resource caching, which reduces Internet connection loads and greatly speeds access of commonly visited resources. UserGate proxy implements both HTTP and FTP traffic caching. Cached documents are saved in the local directory “%UserGate %\Cache”. In the Cache settings you should specify the Cache size limit and the document storage time. You can also enable dynamic page caching and the counting of traffic from Cache. If the “Count Traffic from Cache” option is enabled, not only the Internet traffic will be counted, but also the traffic received from Cache.
