In addition to the default domains, Symantec ESM lets you create domains to match your security requirements. You can create domains to group agents by function, platform, location, organizational structure, or any other classification you specify. When you create a new domain, any manager user account with unrestricted domain rights is able to manage the domain. If a user account does not have unrestricted domain rights, you must specifically give it rights to the new domain in the Access to Domains dialog box.

To create a domain, your user account must have the Create New Domains access right enabled in the Advanced Manager Rights dialog box.
