Create an enterprise policy rule (Enterprise Edition)

To create an enterprise access rule (Enterprise Edition)

ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition only

In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click the applicable enterprise policy:
- Expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand Enterprise, expand Enterprise Policies, and then click Enterprise_Policy.
On the Tasks tab, click Create Enterprise Access Rule.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note

To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.

Important

By default, when you create the first enterprise access rule, it is applied after the array rules. As with any enterprise policy rule, you can change the order in which this rule is processed. For instructions, see Change the order of an enterprise policy rule (Enterprise Edition).
You cannot create any enterprise rules in the default enterprise policy.
You must create a network rule defining the relationship between the source and destination specified for the access rule, in order to allow the traffic to pass.
After you click Apply in the details pane, the policy is updated. The new policy applies only to new connections.
