The UseManagementIpOrName property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether an IP address or computer name can be used instead of the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the server for remote monitoring.

Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if an IP address or computer name can be used instead of the FQDN of the server for remote monitoring, or to VARIANT_FALSE if only the FQDN of the server can be used for remote monitoring.

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Boolean value that indicates whether an IP address or computer name can be used instead of the FQDN of the server for remote monitoring.
This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++). The IP address or computer name that can used for remote monitoring when this property is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++) is specified by the ManagementIpOrName property.
