UseManagementIpOrName Property of the IFPCEEServer Interface

The UseManagementIpOrName property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether an IP address or computer name can be used instead of the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the server for remote monitoring.

Parameters

pfEnabled: Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if an IP address or computer name can be used instead of the FQDN of the server for remote monitoring, or to VARIANT_FALSE if only the FQDN of the server can be used for remote monitoring.
fEnabled: Boolean value that indicates whether an IP address or computer name can be used instead of the FQDN of the server for remote monitoring.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++). The IP address or computer name that can used for remote monitoring when this property is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++) is specified by the ManagementIpOrName property.
