Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) Update 1 is the first update since Forefront UAG RTM. For a summary of features and changes provided in Update 1, see What's new in Forefront UAG Update 1. Install Update 1 as follows:

  1. To install Forefront UAG Update 1 as part of a clean installation, or on a single server, see Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) Update 1.

  2. To install Forefront UAG Update 1 on an existing array deployment that uses Network Load Balancing (NLB), obtain the update from Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) Update 1, and then follow the instructions in Installing Update 1 on an array using NLB.
