By pushing the Port Settings button you can define the TCP port number used to connect UserGate Administrator module to the server part, as well as the port number used for user authorization. By default, TCP port 2345 is used to connect UserGate Administrator module to UserGate Server. TCP Port 3456 is used for user authorization.
Pushing the Database Access button you can set up the login name and password for accessing UserGate user statistics database (log.mdb file). By default login name and password are not set up.
Pushing the Administrative access button will lead you to set up the login name and password for connecting UserGate Administrator module to the server part.
If the internal network interface with UserGate on user computers is set up as DNS (TCP/IP properties in network connection settings), the DNS Forward option will allow forwarding user DNS requests to the provider's DNS server. The IP address of the DNS provider is set up in the corresponding field.
Precision traffic calculation option is designed to perform traffic calculation on the network level, i.e. taking into account all the auxiliary information packets exchange. This option will be available only if NAT driver is installed.
Check for updates button is initiates checking the status of your current UserGate version. If updates are available you will see an information window with a corresponding message.
