If using Windows Vista, it is recommended for the Scanner to be run by a user with administrator rights because any changes in the settings made by unprivileged users are not saved when you exit the system. |
The programs default settings are optimal in most cases. Do not modify them without necessity.
To change the program's settings:
| 1. | Select Options in the programs main menu. Then select Change settings in the submenu. The settings window with several tabs will open. |
| 2. | Modify the settings as necessary. Click the Apply button to open another tab. |
| 3. | After editing the settings click OK to save the changes made, or Cancel to cancel changes. |
| 4. | To get information about the settings in a tab click the Help button. |
| 5. | If in the General tab the Autosave settings mode is disabled, click Save settings on the Options menu of the main window. |
