Use the Create New Template dialog box to create a new template. You can create a new template to check a computer that requires a different configuration than the normal system, or to check the configuration of a specific application. You should choose a template type that is appropriate for the purpose of the new template. For example, if the new template is to check the attributes of a file or directory for a specific application, choose the File template type for the specific operating system. If the new template is to check for the presence of software patches, choose the Patch template for the specific operating system. After you create the new template, you can edit it in the Template Editor.
