To create an enterprise policy (Enterprise Edition)

ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition only

In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click Enterprise Policies:
- Expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand Enterprise, and then click Enterprise Policies.
On the Tasks tab, click Create New Enterprise Policy.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note

To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.

Important

A newly created enterprise policy contains only the default deny rule, which is processed after any array-level firewall policy rules to which this enterprise policy is applied. For instructions on creating enterprise rules, see Create an enterprise policy rule (Enterprise Edition).
After you create an enterprise policy, you can apply the policy to any array in the enterprise. For instructions, see Apply an enterprise policy (Enterprise Edition).
After you click Apply in the details pane, the policy is updated. The new policy applies only to new connections.
