The following procedure describes how to customize reports by changing the report properties. Each report has a number of categories and sub-categories, which are configurable. You can also modify the order in which the data is displayed for most of the reports. For more information, see Configuring Forefront TMG reports.

To customize reports

  1. In the Forefront TMG Management console, in the tree, click the Logs & Reports node.

  2. In the details pane, click the Reporting tab.

  3. Select the required report, and on the Tasks tab, click Edit Selected.

  4. On the Content tab, select the required report category and click Edit Report Details.

  5. Select the required subcategory and modify the parameters, as necessary.

  6. Some sub-categories allow you to change the order by which the data is presented. To do this, under Sort Order, select the parameter value that should be used to sort the data in the report.

  7. Click OK.

  8. On the Period tab, specify the report period for the report job, and then click OK.

  9. Click OK to close the report properties.
